A premium disc on an underpowered grinder finishes slower than a cheap disc on the right one. Walter builds both ends of that pairing, so the wheel, the speed and the tool are matched by design rather than by whatever was in the crib. We stock the pairing, not just the consumable.
A brushless motor puts more of the draw into the wheel instead of into heat and brush wear — so the grinder holds speed deeper into the cut, runs cooler on long duty, and there are no brushes to change. On a tool that runs all shift, that is maintenance you stop scheduling.
Every weld gets ground. Every edge gets blended. It is the least measured operation in most shops and often the most labour. Two ways to take time out of it: match the tool to the abrasive so each disc lasts, or take the operation off the operator entirely.
