Machine more sides in one clamping

Every time a part comes out of the vise to be flipped, you pay for a second setup, a second indicate and a second chance to stack tolerance. A rotary table or tilting trunnion puts those sides in reach of the spindle in one clamping. Samchully has built NC rotary tables alongside its chucks since 1975 — 4th-axis tables, tilting 5th-axis tables, multi-spindle units and tailstocks — and we help you size the right one for the machine and the part. We install them in the machines you already run, and quote them with any machine we sell.

Which rotary fits the job?

Three questions. The answer is a starting point for sizing — table diameter, through-hole and servo motor are confirmed against your machine and control before you order.

    The Samchully rotary line

Samchully offers its tables with Fanuc servo motors, so the rotary can be matched to the control on the machine. Where the control has no spare axis, a Samchully Neo-Con controller runs the table on its own.

    S series NC rotary tables

Samchully’s standard 4th-axis table: high-speed, high-precision indexing, a compact and very rigid body, and a pneumatic clamp. It runs mounted vertically or horizontally. Eleven models from Ø124 to Ø310 mm; the L models carry the same specifications as the standard model of each size.

    TR series tilting trunnions

A compact tilting table that bolts to a 3-axis VMC and adds tilt and rotation — five sides in one clamping without buying a 5-axis machine. High-speed, high-precision indexing, a rigid body, and hydraulic clamping on both axes, with a Fanuc servo on each. Four sizes from Ø130 to Ø310 mm.

    TM series compact trunnions

Samchully’s compact tilting series. The TM-132FF, Samchully’s newest, is designed for compact tapping centers and dual-pallet machining centers, and clamps pneumatically. The TM-184FF runs a roller gear cam on the tilt axis for zero backlash, with a hydraulic clamp and a rigid body.

Adding a rotary, or buying the machine?

We install rotaries and trunnions in the machines you already run. When the part mix calls for a new machine, Lights Out Machinery & Automation, the machinery side of our team, quotes the rotary or trunnion with any machine it sells — the 3-axis GEN MILLs ship with 4th and 5th-axis wiring fitted from the factory, so adding a rotary is a plug-in rather than a retrofit.

Holding the part on the rotary is its own job. See workholding for HWR zero-point and 5-axis vises, and Samchully power chucks for the lathe side.
